I am glad to let you know what has been going on at Tetekela Day Care Center and at Trei Fontan farm.
This year, we have been able to send to formal school 22 children giving a number of 96 children in formal school.
We have been blessed with a donation of 20 bicycles from HFZ; these help children as well as the staff to get to school faster!!!!!
This year we have had a good harvest of maize at our farm. This will help us in feeding our children. 100 bags of maize have been reserved for feeding and 250 will be sold out for the running of the farm and for buying clothes for children.
Another achievement made possible with the help of Hilton Foundation for Sisters and friends in U.S.A and Germany is the purchase of a 3 ton light truck for Tetekela. This has made our trip to the farm easier and collecting food stuff as well as materials needed at the Center possible.
Children at the Center are happy to receive a truck. They want to be driven around. This is a treasure to the children at the Center. We thank you for your generosity.
The goats project is progressing. Wires have been bought with the help KLJB in Germany and goats have been bought but waiting for the pen to be completed. As soon as a shelter for a care taker is erected, the wires will be fixed and goats will be brought in. We still need ten more rolls of wires.
Electricity poles have been erected at Trei Fontan farm in view of connecting our farm to electrical power. This will bring a lot of change and activities to our farm. The first improvement will be the water supply which has been a problem. Pipes have been bought with the valves. But we still need a pump and a tank.
